Diane (Perron) Healy

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Diane Healy (nee Perron) on February 17, 2025, at the age of 77, after a short but courageous battle with cancer. She passed away peacefully, surrounded by love, leaving behind a legacy of warmth, strength, and kindness.

Diane was blessed with a long and vibrant life, enjoying good health until her recent illness. She embraced each day with enthusiasm, cherishing time with family and friends, traveling, and pursuing the things that brought her joy. Her generous spirit and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Timothy John Healy, and her parents, Edgar Perron and Mariette Fleury. Diane is survived by her loving daughter Catherine (Ian) and her cherished granddaughter Olivia, who brought immense joy to her life. She is also survived by her brother Alain Perron (Denise); her brother-in-law Mike (Susan); her sisters-in-law Mary and Catherine (Bill); and her dear goddaughter Josée (Nicholas). She leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will forever hold her memory close.

A Celebration of her Life will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at McEvoy & Shields Funeral Home 1411 Hunt Club Rd, Ottawa, ON K1V 9P9, followed by a Mass. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to the Irving Greenberg Family Cancer Center in her memory.

Her love, kindness and unwavering spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched.

C'est avec une grande tristesse que nous annonçons le décès de Diane Healy (nee Perron), survenu paisiblement le 17 février 2025 à l'âge de 77 ans, après une brève mais courageuse bataille contre le cancer. Entourée d'amour, elle laisse derrière elle un héritage de chaleur, de force et de bienveillance.

Diane a eu la chance de vivre une vie longue et épanouissante, profitant d’une excellente santé jusqu’à sa récente maladie. Elle a embrassé chaque jour avec enthousiasme, chérissant les moments passés avec sa famille et ses amis, voyageant et s’adonnant aux activités qui lui procuraient de la joie. Son esprit généreux et son amour inconditionnel manqueront profondément à tous ceux qui l’ont connue.

Elle rejoint dans l’au-delà son époux bien-aimé, Timothy John Healy, ainsi que ses parents, Edgar Perron et Mariette Fleury. Elle laisse dans le deuil sa fille adorée Catherine (Ian) et sa précieuse petite-fille Olivia, qui a illuminé sa vie. Diane laisse également dans le deuil son frère Alain Perron (Denise), son beau-frère Mike (Susan), ses belles-sœurs Mary et Catherine (Bill), ainsi que sa filleule chérie Josée (Nicholas). De nombreux neveux, nièces, cousins, cousines et amis garderont à jamais son souvenir dans leur cœur.

Une Célébration de sa Vie aura lieu le vendredi 21 février 2025, de 12h00 à 14h00 à la Maison funéraire McEvoy & Shields 1411 Hunt Club Rd, Ottawa, ON K1V 9P9, suivie d'une Messe.. En guise de témoignage de sympathie, des dons peuvent être faits à Irving Greenberg Family Cancer Centre en sa mémoire.

Son amour, sa bienveillance et son esprit indéfectible vivront à jamais dans le cœur de ceux qu’elle a touchés.
