Diane Lalonde

Daughter of the late Hubert & Simone Proulx. Proud mother of Martin (Jo Anne), Denis (Katherine), and proud grandmother to Viviane and Dominic; she was always ready with warm hugs and words of encouragement.

She leaves behind her extended family Denise, Carmen, Monique (Fernand), Suzanne (Louis), and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her loving husband of 55 years, Jean-Guy, her beloved daughter-in-law Dina, and brother-in-law André.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to the compassionate teams at Bruyère Saint-Vincent Hospital and Unit 2B at the Civic Hospital for their care and kindness.

A memorial service will be held at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home

(180 Montreal Road, Ottawa, Ontario) on Tuesday September 16, 2025, at 11AM.

The family will be receiving condolences as of 10AM.

In memory of Diane, donations can be made to the Bruyère Saint-Vincent Hospital.

Diane Lalonde (née Proulx) est décédée le 17 août 2025 à l’hôpital Civic d’Ottawa à l’âge de 79 ans. Elle a quitté ce monde paisiblement et entourée de ses proches.

Née à Montréal, elle était la fille de Hubert et Simone Proulx. Elle était la mère bienveillante de Martin (Jo Anne), Denis (Katherine) ainsi que la grand-mère adorée de Viviane et de Dominic.

Outre ses enfants et ses petits-enfants, Diane laisse dans le deuil sa famille élargie : Denise, Carmen, Monique (Fernand), Suzanne (Louis) ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces.

Elle fut prédécédée par Jean Guy, son époux adoré avec qui elle a passé 55 ans ainsi que sa belle-fille Dina et son beau-frère André.

La famille tient à remercier l’équipe de l’hôpital St-Vincent et de l’unité 2B de l’hôpital Civic pour leurs bons soins prodigués.

Un service commémoratif aura lieu à la chapelle de la Maison funéraire Racine, Robert & Gauthier (180 chemin Montréal, Ottawa, Ontario) mardi le 16 septembre 2025 à 11 h 00.

La famille recevra les condoléances à la Maison funéraire dès 10 h00.
