She was the daughter of the late Douglas Foubert and the late Elizabeth Valery and predeceased by her brother John. She is survived by her two brothers Brian (Heather Clarke) of Prince Edward Island and Michael (Patricia Garand) of Ottawa, nieces and nephews Craig, Brent, David and Martine and many cousins and friends.
Diann worked 40 years as a civil servant for Revenue Canada Agency, she was a dedicated and thorough employee. She also had many artistic talents such as making pottery, crafts, sewing and cooking. She loved baking cakes of any forms and shapes for colleagues, friends, and family. She always cooked excellent meals for family and friends with laughter and storytelling. She loved all her canine companions through the years (Frosty and Merlin).
The family would like to thank the staff of the 3rd floor at the Embassy West Retirement Home for the good care provided.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, April 28th, 2023, at 11:30 a.m. in St-George’s Parish, 415 Picadilly Ave, Ottawa.
Michael will receive friends and family at his residence, 41 Garrison St, Ottawa after church service, for light refreshments.
