Douglas Thomas Wark

May 14, 1952 - April 12, 2025

After a brief battle with cancer Doug passed away peacefully. Doug was born in Winnipeg MB to Edward and Jean Wark. Doug loved spending time at the family cottage in Patricia Beach MB. After a four year relationship he married the love of his life Yvette, on March 5, 1977. Together they loved adventure, from cycling to skiing, motorcycle riding and scuba diving. He loved spending time at their seasonal near Manotick, ON. They also loved travelling to Florida and Texas for the winter months. Doug was predeceased by his beloved wife Yvette as well as their cat Zoe in 2021. He leaves behind his cat Vetty. Many in-laws Yvonne (Anton) from Winnipeg MB, Rick (Helen) from Beausejour MB, Doris from Winnipeg, MB, Dan (Rose) from Edmonton AB, Anita from Victoria BC, Rita (Moe) from Victoria BC also many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many dear friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to humane society. Even though Doug is gone his life left a beacon of light for all who knew him.
