Edouard A Robillard

With his family by his side, Edouard Robillard passed away peacefully on August 27, 2015 at the age of 82. Dearly loved by his wife of 60 years Lillian (Weatherdon), Ed was a proud family man. He will be greatly missed by his adoring children Jeanne-Marie (Mark Pitman), Lise-Anne (Phil Barden) and Marc (Chantal Blaquière). He was a devoted Grandfather to Alexandre Robillard and Chloé Barden. Pre-deceased by his parents, Antoine & Jean and sisters Yvette, Jeanne & Marie. Uncle Ed will be dearly missed by his loving nieces & nephews. Ed also leaves many friends who were a big part of his & Lil's life. A storyteller to all that would listen, Ed loved to spend time at the family cottage at Lac Gagnon entertaining on the deck and fishing most evenings. His family wishes to take this opportunity to thank Ed for his never-ending love, enormous generosity and ongoing wisdom. We are grateful. The Robillard family extends their deep gratitude to the kind staff at Elizabeth Bruyère Hospital. Visitation on Friday October 2nd from 2-4pm and 7-9pm, at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home at 1411 Hunt Club Road, Ottawa. Funeral will be held on Saturday October 3rd at 10am at Resurrection of Our Lord Church at 1940 Saunderson Drive, Ottawa. In memoriam donations to the Kidney Foundation or a charity of your choice.
