Passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on June 5, 2023 at the age of 95. Loving Daughter of Karami and Georges Saikaly. Predeceased by her husband Salem. Loving mother of Soheil (Therese), Odette (late Moufid) and Colette (Tony). Cherished Teta to six grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Lamia (Late Maurice), and Walid (Sabah). Predeceased by her sisters Mariam (late Nick), Linda (Late Rev. Nadim), Samia (Late Esam), Nadia (Mike) and brother Halim (Haifa). She will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, and extended family.
The family will receive friends at St. Elias Antiochian Orthodox Cathedral (750 Ridgewood Avenue, Ottawa) on Thursday June 8 from 10am until the time of the service at 11:30am. Burial will follow at Beechwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions to St. Elias Cathedral would be appreciated by the family.
