Peacefully, but unexpectedly at home, on Friday October 16, 2015 at the age of 70 years. Beloved husband of Thérèse. Loving father of Sofia, Diane, Marie (Jean Najem) and Elias (Micheline Ibrahim). Much loved grandfather of Jessica, Kristina, Michelle, Selena, Jonathon and Elias-Nicholas. Dear brother of Afdouk, George, the late, Khalil, late Antoine and the late Walid. The family will receive friends at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road( at Albion Road) on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. At Elias` request the funeral service will be private. In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated.
