Elmer L. Sabourin

décédé le 2 janvier 2026 à l'âge de 93 ans. Il fut prédécédé par son épouse de plus de 61 ans Gilberte (née Deneault) et un fils bien aimé, Michel. Il laisse dans le deuil ses enfants: Daniel (Oscar Medina) et Joanne, ses quatre petits-enfants : Annik (Alan), Éric (Josh), Mathieu (Kelsey) et Miguel (et sa conjointe) ainsi que six arrière-petits-enfants : Noah, Émilie, Severen, Malcolm et deux autres jeunes enfants. Prédécédé par son père, Oscar Sabourin, et sa mère, Aline Pilon. Il laisse également ses frères et sœurs : Juliette (feu Gérald), feu Gérald (Simone), Fernand (feu Alice), Roger (feu Nicole) et Claudette (Claude), sa belle-sœur Claire (feu Marcel Deneault), ainsi que plusieurs nièces et neveux, y compris sa grande amie Lucille du Manoir Rockland.

Une messe commémorative sera célébrée le jeudi 15 janvier 2026 à 11 h 00 à l’église Saint-Sébastien, 1000, rue Frances, Ottawa, Ontario.

Passed away on January 2, 2026, at the age of 93. He leaves behind his children: Daniel (Oscar Medina) and Joanne. He was predeceased by his wife of over 61 years, Gilberte (née Deneault), and a beloved son, Michel. He also leaves four grandchildren: Annik (Alan), Éric (Josh), Mathieu (Kelsey), and Miguel (and his wife), as well as six great-grandchildren: Noah, Émilie, Severen, Malcolm, and two other young children. Predeceased by his father, Oscar Sabourin, and his mother, Aline Pilon. He also leaves his brothers and sisters: Juliette (the late Gérald), the late Gérald (Simone), Fernand (the late Alice), Roger (the late Nicole), and Claudette (Claude). He also leaves his sister-in-law, Claire (the late Marcel Deneault), along with several nieces and nephews, including his dear friend Lucille from Manoir Rockland.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Saint-Sébastien Church, 1000 Frances Street, Ottawa, Ontario.
