Thinking of Dag from across the miles in Ireland. Lots of great memories with him and Helen and his wonderful children of whom I came to cherish dearly during the time I had the pleasure to know him. His star still shines.

My sincere condolences to the Dagenais family. Emile was instrumental in getting me started as an apprentice printer at the Ottawa Journal for which I have been forever grateful and I have never heard skates dig into the ice like his did as he flew down the wing.

My deepest heartfelt sympathies to all Dag's wonderful children, and Helen and Debra. I came to know and love you over the last fourteen years of your life. You made me feel like one of your own children and over the years I was privileged to share many joyous occasions with you and them. Your wit, charm, class and intelligence will always remain with me, and especially your cooking lessons. I will surely miss you and I will think of you often. Your loving son-in-law, Tony, so long Dag.
