Suddenly, at home, on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of the late Eugenie (née Henry). Loving father of Yvonne and Alice Demers. Dear brother of Ovanna Landon, Alfie Demers and Patricia Landon. Predeceased by his brothers Fred, Joseph, Vincent, George and Peter. Eugene will be fondly remembered by many other relatives and friends. Visitation at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road, on Saturday, March 8 from 10 am to 12 noon followed by a memorial service in the chapel at 12 noon. In memoriam donations to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
