Following a lengthy illness on Monday, March 19, 2012. Beloved wife of the late David Wilson; loving mother of Dorothy (Jean-Claude); grandmother of Tracey-Lynn (Kevin), Jason (Myriam) and Kevin (Cinzia). Great grandmother of Chloé and Noah. Fondly remembered by Kyle and Matthew. Predeceased by her sister Edith (the late Mel). Freda was an active member and past president for many years of the Canadian Council of the Blind. Visitation at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road, on Thursday, March 22 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service on Friday, March 23 at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Special thanks to Dr. Chouinard, nurses and staff of E2, and the nurses of the Dialysis Unit at St. Vincent’s Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Council of the Blind and the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
