Gary Boyer, 64, affectionately known as Uncle Bob, passed away peacefully on June 25th, after a prolonged battle with scleroderma. Gary was predeceased by his parents, Guy and Joan Boyer, and his stepmother, Cécile Boyer. He leaves behind his brothers Mark and David, his sister Gail, his stepbrothers Alfred and Philippe, and his stepsisters Monique, Hélène, Rachel, and Renée. He also leaves behind more than 25 nieces and nephews, many of whom he inspired deeply, and by all of whom he will be fondly remembered. The family will receive family and friends on Friday, July 11, 2025 starting at 1 p.m at Racine, Robert and Gauthier Funeral Home, 180 Montreal Road, Ottawa, followed by a funeral at 1:30 p.m in the Chapel.
