Gerry, my good friend, I will miss our chats every work day at 7, 10, noon, 3 and 5, you certainly were punctual. I could always count on you being there. I will miss your friendship and your constant smile. 

You were a good cook too. So many of us enjoyed your wings and ribs and Lisa and I still have some of your homemade salsa in our fridge. We don't know if we will ever be able to finish it.

The guys at the moose camp had the pleasure of your company for a week, we enjoyed your cooking, your laughter, we may even miss your snoring. It won't be the same at the camp next year without you.

I cannot believe you have been taken away from us. It is just so senseless.

I had the pleasure of meeting Gerry on several occasions through mutual friends.  I was struck by Gerry's charming, outgoing and friendly personality.  There is no merit found in this calamity.  My sincere condolences to the Madaire family during this difficult time.

Although we had only known Gerry for the last 10 years of his shortened life, we will remember his contagious, hearty laugh, his always positive upbeat attitude and his overall friendly, caring outgoing nature.

He worked and lived to be in and enjoy the great outdoors year around. As an excellent neighbour, he was always at the ready to help out in any project.

He was a workaholic with the main goal of retiring by age 55 or sooner to spend even more time outdoors!

Both the Ottawa Senators and Dallas Cowboys have lost a loyal fan.

To us Gerry was a first class, first rate highly motivated individual. A true gentleman. Gerry, mon ami, YOU WILL BE MISSED.
