Gerald was a wonderfully upbeat man with a great sense of humour.  I have fond memories of our days working together in the war room at Canada Post and the many hours we spent playing hockey together.  He will be missed.

Gerry was a good friend with whom I shared many good laughs and talks. He was also a great sportsman and a very proud uncle and son. I wish to express my Deepest Sympathies to the Mulcahy family.

Very sorry to hear about Gerald. Joanne and Marty Alers from London, Ont. Gerald came to our house a few years ago with a friend he was dating at the time. Gerald was always the gentleman. Whether at work, playing sports or having a get-together, it was always a pleasure when Gerald was involved.  Truely, he will be missed.

From sharing some laughs in the "war room" at Canada Post, a competitive spirit on the softball diamond, or discussing the many topics of sports (including the CFL); Gerry took a interest in all that meant most to him. My thoughts and deepest sympathies go out to Mr. Mulcahy and the family with such a difficult loss.  Gerald was introduced to me several years ago as “one of the good guys” and he always lived up to that label.  His love of family, friends, golf & the Black Hawks was constantly front & centre, in both his mind and his great big heart.  It was obvious why everyone Gerald met was touched in a positive way…his approach to life and the enjoyment he shared with those around him was contagious.   Gerald will be greatly missed by many colleagues who had the privilege and honour of getting to know him.

To my Godfather Hartland and family.  Madeleine and I shared with the deepest sympathy, the sudden loss a loving caring son, brother and uncle.  I have lost a loving compassionate buddy of almost 4 decades and will miss the good times that we shared, but more the plans we had for the future.  He was a loving godfather to my daughter, Melanie, and she with her sisters will always remember the good times with "Uncle Gerry".  I know that grief and sorrow with fade away with time, but the loving "prescious moments" with Gerald will remiain in our hearts forever.

I am so sorry for your loss my memories go back to when we were kids around years old; we were ex paper mates as he would say delivering the star in Lasalle.We met later in life and he was the kindest and nicest guy,full of memories about his family and freinds. he loved his sports.

Dear Hartland and family.  My deepest sympathy for the loss of Gerald.  I got to know Gerald over the past 15 years first at work and then it extended to ski & golf outings.  Our yearly trips to Lake Placid and Calabogie Peaks were very memorable for more than just the skiing and golfing.  We had great discussions about life, our lives and our great families. Whenever I passed or stopped to talk with Gerald in the halls of the business world, he always had a quick bright smile, pride in his walk, ready to share his business wisdom and eager to debate his unique insight as to how things would play out in the NHL.

Although we've only met occasionaly on golf trips in the last few years through our mutual friend Kevin McCormick, I've come to know Gerald as a great person with a tremendous sense of humour. All of his golfing buddies will miss his comeraderie and friendship dearly.
