Peacefully at St.Patrick`s Home, on Monday, August 24, 2020 at the age of 81 years. Beloved husband of the late Sandra Webb. Loving brother of Shirley (Jack Lemore) and Linda (Michael Yea). Dear uncle of Rick Spence (Christine), Jim Spence (Debbie), Bob Spence (Kathy), Colleen (Chris Strban), Dana Mounzer (Joe), Dale Lemore (Sue), Stacey Yea, Ashley Wislon and the late Sherry Wilson. Gerry will be sadly missed by his extended family and his many friends. The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the staff at St. Patrick`s Home for their dedicated and compassionate care. The family will receive friends at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road, (at Albion Road) on Thursday, August 27, 2020, after 12:30 pm, followed by a Funeral Service at 2:30 pm in the Chapel. The funeral will be lived streamed at www.funeraweb.tv starting at 2:30 pm and available in review for 200 days. Burial will be held at Springhill Cemetery in Metcalfe at a later date.
