Gerry is survived by his siblings Lucille (feu Maurice Cholette), Michel, Diane (Richard Hagley) and step-siblings Maurice and Lionel.
He is predeceased by his life partner Gisèle Lapointe, his parents Edgar Lafrenière and Marguerite Prest (née Dupont), step-father Alfred Prest, brother André (Ann) and step-siblings Roger, Léo, Claudette and Marcel.
He will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends.
A celebration of life with close family and friends will be held at a later date.
