Peacefully surrounded by her family at the Ruddy Shenkman Hospice on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at the age of 95 years. Beloved wife of the late Sylvio Lemire. Loving mother of Sonia (Bernard Battistin) and Marc (Kim Veinot). Cherished Nana of Stéphanie, Julie, Patrick, Nicolas and Kyle. Predeceased by her parents Patrick Houle and Hosanna Maisonneuve and her sisters Regina Laplante, Rollande Seguin and Anita Lemire. The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Paul Fluitt, The Ruddy Shenkman Hospice for their loving care and the staff of Hunt Club Manor. The family will receive friends for visitation at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Road) on Friday, Feb 2, 2018 from 2-5 & 7-9 pm. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 11 am at Sainte-Geneviève Church, 825 Canterbury Avenue (at Arch Street). In memoriam donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.

La famille désire remercier Dr. Paul Fluitt ainsi que le personnel de l’hospice Ruddy Shenkman et Hunt Club Manor pour leurs soins prodigués. La famille recevra parents et amis pour les visites à la maison funéraire McEvoy-Shields, 1411 chemin Hunt Club (à chemin Albion) ce vendredi 2 février 2018 de 14h à 17h et de 19h à 21h. Funérailles auront lieu le samedi 3 février à 11h à la paroisse Sainte-Geneviève, 825 avenue Canterbury (à rue Arch). En mémoire de Mme Lemire, des dons à la fondation des maladies du cœur et l’AVC seraient appréciés.
