With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our cherished Jacek Aleksander Romanowski at the age of 78, on the 25th of August 2025. He was born on the 18th of February 1947, in London England to the late Irena Sofia Romanowski and Jan Wladyslaw Romanowski. Jacek's career was mainly in the Airline Industry. He worked at Nordair and Canadian Airlines and DHL. He retired from DHL Brussels in 2005, and made his way back to Calgary and eventually Kelowna B.C. He then made his way to Ottawa in 2023 to be closer to family.
Jacek was predeceased by his wife Linda Paquette, who passed away on the 5th of November 2024. Their beloved Welsh Terrier Bucky passed the 31st of January 2025. Linda was Jacek's "Queen" as he would often say, for 39 years. They leave behind their brother and brother-in-law Andrew and their sister-in-law, Dana, along with many dear friends. May they all finally rest in peace together.
