My mother (Hilda) and I send our deepest sympathy to you Betty, Rene and families in your great loss. Remembering Janice as a lovely person when she had visited at her grandparent's place in Fredericton Junction, New Brunswick many years ago. As often as it is, cousins get separated by time and distance as families spread out. But we remember you all and want to convey or deepest condolences in such a sudden loss. May God Bless you, one and all in the days ahead as you grieve your loss.

I was so incredibly sorry to read of Janices' passing. So many memories of playing as " kids" came flooding back. The O'shaughnessys, Garveys and Bonokoski children made a pretty awesome bunch. Aunt Betty , the sole representative now, of that generation. How time as flown! My sincere sympathies on this devastating loss. My prayers are with you. Nayda.

I find this all very sad. Mary was a wonderful person who I worked with regularly. I also happened to be her surgeon and was so happy to see her thrive after her surgery. I used to enjoy her little visits back to the OR. Words cannot express my sadness at her passing. She will be missed by all in the OR.

My sincere condolences to all family members. I considered Janice one of my mentors when I first started in the OR at the Civic; patient, always smiling and willing to help. I will miss her.

From my first day as a new grad on A3, in 1984, to Janny's retirement from the O.R., I have been privileged to share both my professional life and personal milestones with Jan. I learned from her, laughed with her, shared a love of knitting, and animals... I was honoured to have her at my wedding, to speak at her retirement, and to have her as my friend.
I will always remember her incredible smile, her beautiful handwriting, and her incredible love for her family.
Thinking of you,
Sue
