Surrounded by family on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at the age of 92. Beloved wife for 60 years of the late Ray Trainor. Dear mother of Wayne (Daphne), Carolann (Paul), Darleen (Tom) and Mary. Loving grandmother of Jason, Chris, and Erin (Jeff); and great grandmother of Ethan and Kaden. Dear sister of John McEvoy and the late Lloyd McEvoy. Jean was a member of the Catholic Women’s League for 55 years. Special appreciation and heartfelt thanks go out to the staff at Central West Hospice for their wonderful and compassionate care. As a remembrance, the family requests donations to Hospice Care Ottawa. Visitation at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road, on Sunday, March 9 from 2-4 pm & 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass Tuesday, March 11 at 12:30 pm in Our Lady of Fatima Church, 153 Woodroffe Avenue. Private interment at Hope Cemetery.
