It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Jeannette Littleton (née Plante) of Ottawa, ON, on Monday, August 22, 2022 at the age of 85.
Beloved wife of the late Austin Littleton. Loving mother of Sonia Clement (Stephen) and step-mother of Tim Littleton (Pamela), Trish Kolody (Kent), Richard Littleton (April). Grandmother of her pride and joy, Cameron. Cherished sister of Jeanne Plante (late Bob Stewart), Ronald Plante (late Maureen), Gerald Plante (Fran), the late Jacqueline Plante and Nicole Sabourin (Paul). She is fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, friends and as a second mom to “her girls”.
Jeannette’s love of her family and friends was evident in everything she did. She cared more of the happiness of those around her than her own and always had a warm smile to give. Her gentle, giving and kind soul will be missed dearly.

Visitation will held on Sunday, August 28, 2022 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road, Ottawa, ON. A funeral Service for Jeannette will be held in the chapel at McEvoy-Shields on Monday, August 29, 2022 at 11:00 am followed by a reception. Interment at Hope Cemetery.
In memoriam donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer Society of Ontario would be appreciated.
