LAVERDURE, Jeannine (née Fassette)
Passed away peacefully after a short battle with cancer, on June 8, 2012 at the age of 80. Beloved wife of the late Léo Laverdure. Cherished mother of Paul, Diane, Robert (Madeleine Sigouin) and Michel (Susan Carrigan). Adored grandmother of Lisa, Mélanie and Sara. Loved great-grandmother of Jahda, Josiah, Jaliah and Jamika. Dear sister of Larry (Madeleine) Barnabé and Bob (Colleen) Barnabé. She is also survived by a sister-in-law Sheila, many nephews, nieces and friends. Predeceased by one son Pierre, one brother Patrick and one sister Denyse. A Memorial Mass will be held at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, 320 Olmstead Avenue, Ottawa on June 14, 2012 at 11 a.m. Family and friends may pay their respects as of 10:30 a.m. For those wishing, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society .
