J.H. Roger Schryburt

SCHRYBURT, J.H. Roger (RCMP Civilian Member, retired) - Peacefully in hospital surrounded by his family on Friday, June 8, 2012 at the age of 74 after a short and valiant fight with cancer. He will be dearly missed by his wife of 51 years and best friend Cécile (Leblanc). Loving father of Ginette (John Pepler), Lynn (Richard Delage), Denis (Trevor Prevost), Monique and Josée (Ryan Mayer). Cherished Grand-father of Carine, Martin, Michelle, Steven, Brian, Philippe, Robyn, Catherine, Jacob and Jenna. Great Grand-father of Zackary, Alexandre and Nickolas. Sadly missed by sisters Lucille (Andy), Lilianne (Yves) and Georgette as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his father Roger (Rosaire) Schryburt and his mother Edna Lafrenière. A mass will be held to celebrate Roger's life on Thursday June 14th, 2012 at St-Gabriel Roman Catholic Church, 55 Appleford Drive, Ottawa, ON at 10 a.m. As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations in Roger's memory may be made to either the Canadian Lung Cancer Society or the Montfort Hospital http://hopitalmontfort.com/donationGift.cfm.
