Jocelyne Ellichuk
November 23, 1931 – January 19, 2023

Jocelyne Ellichuk (née Quevillon) passed away in hospital on January 19, 2023. She was 91. Born in Ottawa to the late Charles Quevillon and the late Berthe Labelle. Pre-deceased by her husband Jack Ellichuk; sisters, Monique Quevillon and Charlotte Robinson. She is survived by her daughter Chantal Ellichuk of Ottawa, her sister Constance Grace and several nieces and nephews.
Former federal public servant for 38 years, employed in various departments including, the National Printing Bureau, and as part of the Royal Commission on the Status of Women.
Music was a great love of Jocelyne’s. She was a trained singer, and was a member of many local choirs, including the Palestrina Choir of Ottawa during the 1950s.
Jocelyne also loved all animals and shared her life with dogs and cats.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ottawa Humane Society would be appreciated.
Visitation on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 10:00 a.m., followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home, 180 Montreal Road, Ottawa, Ontario K1L 1B4
