We are so sad to announce the sudden loss of our beautiful little brother Joe on June 28, 2020. A wonderful son, brother, uncle, godfather, and friend, Joe will be forever missed as he joins his dad Gib and brothers Tom and Matt. They are all soaring together!

He is loved always and forever by his mom Ann; his siblings David (Linda), Donna (Rande), and Jamie (Peggy); his god-daughter Jennifer (Colin); his nieces Andrea, Natasha and Ashley (Sam); and his nephews Jason (Sarah), Alex, Isaac and Nicholas (Emma).

Due to Covid-19, a service will be held for Joey at a later date. In the meantime, please keep him in your hearts and in your prayers by listening to "He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother" by the Hollies. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oT57tjz9py8

Condolences and memories can by shared with us at mcevoy-shields.com. We recently lost many of our family photos in a fire and would cherish any pictures you could share with us.

Joey, you brightened our lives. You will shine in our hearts forever.

May God welcome you into His loving arms Joey. We shall always cherish the great memories we have of you, especially as a little boy, catching frogs, minnows, etc., with your family and anyone else who was visiting Lake Bernard. It is very difficult to loose so many good people in such a short time. Our heartfelt condolences and love go out to your mother and family. God bless you and your family.
Love Aunt Marg and Uncle Doug

I had the pleasure of working with Joe for many years often together on the inserting machine, he was an excellent workmate and cared for his work.

We talked hockey, his Red Wings, Sens and my Leafs, Sens. Always smiling and helpful, you'll be missed.
