Passed away peacefully in hospital on Monday, February 6, 2012 in her 81st year. Beloved wife of 57 years of Peter. Much loved mother of Cynthia Armstrong (Alan) and David (Mary) and predeceased in 1995 by adored son Bruce Robert Taylor. Cherished grandmother of Damian Armstrong, Matthew Taylor, Jacob Taylor, Christian Armstrong and Clayton Taylor. She leaves behind her brother Don (Faye) and a wide circle of friends and relatives to mourn her passing. Joyce had a passion for travel and a great joy of Volksmarches. She was a dedicated volunteer and for 25+ years delivered for Meals on Wheels. Visitation at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion), on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service on Friday at 2 p.m. in the Anglican Church of the Resurrection, 3191 Riverside Drive. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Anglican Church of the Resurrection.
