Mrs. Juliana Lin was born in Taiwan. She went to teacher’s college and taught high school biology for years before immigrating with her husband and children to Canada in 1976 under the sponsorship of her sister, Mrs. Louise Lin.
Her husband died of a stroke suddenly in 1984.
She learned accounting and computer in Canada. She worked as a bookkeeper and medical office manager before retiring at age 68.
She travelled the world, often accompanied by her two eldest daughters and eldest granddaughters.
In her retirement, she learned line dancing, painting and ocarina. Her favourite painting subjects were her grandchildren and grand puppies (Kooma and Teddy). She had a painting exhibition at age 80.
A burial service will be scheduled on April 22, 2022 at the Woodland Cemetery, 493 Springbank Road London, Ontario.
She is survived by her children: Susan, Mary, Angela and James Lin; grandchildren: Shannon, Erin, Lauren Callaghan, Matthew, Avery and Justine Ng; daughter-in-law and son-in-law: Patricia Fu and Glenn Ng.
