OBITUARY

Kealey Ann Field

July 12, 1970January 13, 2021

Kealey Ann passed away peacefully at home, after a courageous battle with cancer, with her family, and her “baby loves” Declan by her side.

Predeceased by her father, Edsel, she was much loved and will be dearly missed by her mother, Elaine (née Kealey), her sisters: Trudy (David Woolford), Andrea (Jeff Ward), Erin (Sean Fielding), Shauna (Christopher Lemieux) and her brother Patrick, her nieces and nephew: Victoria and Jessica Woolford, Hayden Ward, Hanna Fielding, Haley, Lydia and Daphne Lemieux, aunts, uncles, cousins, CRA colleagues, and many good friends.

Although she often expressed her “dislike for people”, she knew many and you considered yourself lucky if you made the cut as her friend. Today you may have tears for her but remember the many times you had tears (and beers) from the laughter she made sure to share with everyone.

Special thanks to the palliative care team (Dr. Lajzerowicz, Sarah and Amélie) for their professional care and support.

Due to the pandemic restrictions, a private family funeral will be held. When restrictions are lifted and it is safe to do so, we know she would love for all to get together and raise a glass in her honour – cheers!

In memoriam donations to Holy Cross Church, Fieldville QC would be appreciated.

Elaine, Patrick and family. I was so saddened to hear of Kealey Ann’s passing and my heart breaks for your loss.

When I think of Kealey Ann I always think of our first meeting at the cottage when she told me that we should be friends because we were “almost cousins”. I knew then that she was special and enjoyed her sense of humour and appreciated her kindness to me.

You are in my thoughts and prayers.

My deepest condolences to Kealey's family.

Although my time working with Kealey was brief, I feel very lucky to have had this opportunity. Her expertise, sense of humour and kindness had a lasting impression on me.

Elaine, Patrick, Trudy, Shauna, Andrea, Erin and extended family;
Our deepest sympathy to you all.

Kealey was a wonderful friend who I was lucky to meet over 20 years ago. I will always cherish the many memories of the good times we shared; from work events, Al’s surprise 50th, my surprise 50th, St Patrick Day events, our many Ralph’s visits, pool parties, finding Mr. Boo for us and our great conversations that usually ended up in laughter.

We will miss the fun times we shared with you and your Christmas day calls. You will be missed but never forgotten.
Rest in peace my dear friend, until we meet again. XO

Al, MarySue, Richard and Christopher Drynan.

It's so sad when you want someone to live so badly, but it's just not meant to be.

I had wanted to tell Kealey Ann about a memory I always treasured but didn't get a chance to tell her.
Elaine, I told you recently but here it is again.

When Kealey Ann was born I went to the hospital to see you both and was totally surprised to see this perfect tiny baby with all this black hair.
I had four big babies with blond hair. Looking at her I thought, "this could be my baby". I did love my big blond babies though.

I was so amazed by her that I went back to the hospital to check her out again, and of course, you too Mommy.

Love ,
Teresa and Kevin

Trudy and family,

My deepest sympathies on the passing of Kealey Ann. I had the good fortune of working with Kealey on a number of projects in the last few years and was always so glad when I saw that she was on the team. Her sense of humour and positive attitude injected some fun into many of these meetings. She will be missed.

My sincere condolences to your family.

I had the privilege of working with Kealey for several years at the CRA. She was an impressive individual with a wicked sense of humour. I'm so happy I had the opportunity to know her. She will be sorely missed.
