Peacefully, at the Ottawa Civic Hospital on Monday, March 5, 2012 at the age of 84 years. Beloved husband of Ruth for 49 years. Loving father of Michael (Melissa) and Bruce (Christina). He will be sadly missed by his many friends. The family will receive friends at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Road) on Thursday, March 8, 2012 after 1 pm followed by a service in the chapel at 2 pm.
