Latchmin Persaud, fondly known as Shirley, has joined the heavenly angels in the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on April 25, 2022. Shirley lived a simple life, but her love was infinite, and she inspired and touched everyone she met. She was kind with a heart of gold, always willing to go the extra mile for people. She will be dearly missed and forever remain in the hearts of all her family and friends including:

Brothers – Rocky Premlall (Seeta), Vishnu Premlall (Jenny), Shyam (Nanda), Ram, and Damian

Sisters – Nanda (Norman) and Kabita

Aunts – Dorothy and Savitri (Sabee)

Nephews & Nieces – Anil, Avi, Anandi, Mandi, Buddie, Angalie, Benjamin, Matthew, Melissa, Steve, and others

Cousins – Jean, Elaine, Annie, Baby, Robin, Jagan, Amar, Geere, Mala, Vedo, Anand, Indra, Chandra, Golin, Mandy, Leila, and others

Close Relatives & Friends– Ajax, Vidya, Priya, and Ryan Persaud, Reshma, Tanuja, Nixsala, Jude, Tabitha, Zaiboon, Ron, Jai, Nandani, and many more.

She was predeceased by her loving and caring parents, Nandkishun Premlall and Sukhia Premlall

A visitation for Latchmin will be held Thursday, April 28, 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home and Chapel, 1411 Hunt Club Road, Ottawa, ON K1V1A6, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM.
