Je suis desolee pour la famille Seguin, mais je pense que memere Seguin avait tout donnee sur cette terre.  Elle doit etre bien heureuse que ce soit fini.

La seule consolation de ne plus la voir souffrir me fais accepter qu'elle devienne notre ange gardienne de la haut.

Elle est partie rejoindre ceux qu'elle amait et elle attend ceux qu'elle aime.

Mes sinceres sympathies surtout a Gerard, Therese, Claude et Suzanne qui on su lui donner les soins necessaires.

Elle occupe une place speciale dans mon coeur. Je n'oublerai jamais les beaux moments passes aupres d'elle.  

Je souhaite a votre mere qui a ete si bonne ici avec nous un beau voyage pour qu'elle repose en paix.

a notre memere seguin(sur la rue donald),je me rappelle plusieurs beaux moments et souvenirs passé avec toi.les soirees de cartes avec tes amis en bas ou je tombait endormi sur deux chaises collées,les rides et les bingos de la super ex ou tu m amenait a chaque années,nous perdons une personne spéciale dans la famille et une generation ,mais nous gardons encore 5 generation avec tes souvenirs dans notre coeur.nous allons revoir ton beau sourire quand tu nous attendra a la porte du ciel.

Our deepest sympathies to you all. As you guys know, we realize all too well how it feels to lose a beloved woman in her 90s who was a strong leader for your family. It sounds like she was a terrific woman who lived a long and full life -- and who surely instilled many of the wonderful family values that you Séguins display to all of us who know you. 

I feel badly that I forgot to ask you about your Grandma at the game last night Vince --- and I noticed your parents were there too, I wish I wouldn’t have been so preoccupied so I could have offered my condolences.

Please know though that our thoughts are with you, and let us know if you need anything.

My deepest sympathies to all of you on the passing of a truly remarkable woman. As a child, I will always remember visiting with you and being totally awestruck by all the baking that was gracing your kitchen counter.  I never understood where you found the time to do all that, and be there for everyone else.  I feel so blessed to have been a part of your life.  You are now with loved ones, and we will meet again someday where I hope there will be baked goods made by the woman who was "the best baker in the world".

We have been blessed to have such a caring wonderful memere. We had many good times spent together. I will never forget our trip to Lake George, New York. The white water rafting ride where we all got soaked. We must have gone on that ride about 5 times. You laughed so hard. This is the way we will remember you. And who can forget your wonderful fudge, pies and date squares. We will always cherish these memories of you. You were a true role model for all of us and we learned from your wisdom. May you rest in peace with God, dear "Memere Seguin aux cheveux blancs".

Thank you for all the fond memories including the family trips to Parc Safari, Ausable Chasm, Niagara Falls, etc.(where we would sleep on you in the back seat during the drive there).  We thank you for showing everyone how to be a strong woman (perhaps one of the first feminists) and having the will to live a long and happy life.  You will deeply be missed by everyone that knew you but we know you will be in heaven with other loved ones that are already there.  Say "Hi" to them all and we look forward to joining you at whatever version of the "SuperEx" that they have upstairs.

You were not only our Memere you were also our friend.Thank-you for all the special times we shared together we will treasure them for ever.For me Wendy you were the grandmother I never had and you were the best one I could have ever asked for we spent alot of time together and I am greatful for those times we shared.You were amazing to our children and you taught them so much,you were always there for them as they were always there for you whenever you needed them.I remember when Stephan was in the hospital you came and sat with me everyday at the hospital until he came home and thank -you for that.The kids remember going to your apartment for lunch and spending hours with you playing cards and when Danika was born you asked to see her everyday and when we would bring her to see you,you would play with her the whole time. These are memories that we will remember for ever.We love and miss you so very much and you will never be forgotten.You will always be in out thoughts and prayers. May you rest in peace Memere

What a strong lady to have lived 98 wonderful years!  We all have fond memories, as kids, cousins, running around playing at her house and being spoiled with ice cream, of playing countless games of cards, and being taken to the Ottawa Exhibition and playing bingo.
