Peacefully in hospital on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at the age of 76 years. Beloved husband of Marie (nee Mask). Loving father of Lenore (Peter Stepa), Rosemarie (David Cooligan) and James (Diane Clyne). Cherished grandpa of Amanda, Kyle (Jenny), Stephanie (Mike) and great-grandpa (Poppa) of Ella and Ivan. Dear brother of Harry (Joan), Norman, and Mary Jane. Predeceased by Edgar, Patrick and Patricia. Leonard will be sadly missed by his extended family. The family will receive friends at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Road) on Monday, April 17, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. . Funeral Mass on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Resurrection of Our Lord Church, 1940 Saunderson Drive at 11 am. In lieu of flowers in memoriam donations to Crohn`s and Colitis Canada or The Royal Ottawa Hospital for Mental Health Initiatives would be appreciated.
