Linda Boushey

Peacefully at home surrounded by family on March 14, 2016, at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late Reverend Nadeem Boushey. Loving mother of Eddy (Georgina), Yvonne, and the late Blanche Choueiri (Salim). Dear sito to Jennifer, Jason (Sereen), Romeo, Andriana, James, Andrew, and Eddy Jr. Cherished great-grandmother to Miguel, Cruz, Aiden, and Samuel. She leaves behind her siblings Ejani Ferris, Halim (Haifa), Samia Nesrallah, Lamia Dib, Walid (Sabah), and her in-laws Dr. Samuel (Lucille), David (Leila), and Paul (Suzanne). Predeceased by her sisters Mariam Saikaly and Nadia Ajram (Mike). Fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews. She will be forever remembered for her love of family and friends, for being a mother figure to so many, and for her unselfish need to help others. A special thank you to Dr. Coulombe and the nurses at the Community Care Access Centre. Family and friends may pay their respects at McEvoy Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road, on Thursday, March 17, 2016 from 2-4pm and 6-9pm. Funeral service at Arabic Evangelical Baptist Church of Ottawa, 887 Canterbury Avenue on Friday, March 18, 2016 at 11am. Interment at Beechwood Cemetery.
