Mrs. Lucille Jolicoeur Langill

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful death of Lucille Langill on September 18, 2013 at the age of 89. Loving wife for 59 years of the late Frank Langill.

Much loved mother of Maureen Holmes, Gerry Langill of North Vancouver, British Columbia and Jim Langill (Rachel Million) of Cumming, Georgia.

Loving grandmother of Lisa Holmes (Stéphane Shank), Kurtis Holmes, Cheryl Simpson, Grant Langill (Andrenea Troyer), and Zaire Langill.

Proud great grandmother of Addison Holmes, Lucas and Jessica Simpson and Bennett Shank.

Lucille was predeceased by her parents René Jolicoeur and Claudia Boyer and by her two sisters, Rita Cullen and Claire Demers.

She will be greatly missed by many friends, nieces, nephews and other family members including: Lois Langill, Theresa Woroshelo, Maurice Demers and David Holmes.

The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the "angels" of Gatineau 2 South at the Perley Rideau Veterans' Health Centre who have looked after Lucille for the past 7 years.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada.

Visitation will be held at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home,180 Montreal Road (corner of Vanier Parkway) on September 22, 2013 from 11 am to 1pm, followed by a service at 1pm.
