Eternally loved by his children Edmund (Maggie), Calvin (Caren), Linda (Brett), Douglas (Virginia), Carol-Anne (Rudy), Bruce (Laura) and Wayne.

The best "Paw", Grandpa and Opa to his grandchildren: Tom, Tracey (Mike), Kevin (Stephanie), Bryce (Linnea), Keith (Mona), Jennifer (Jamie), Adam (Emily), Matthew, Erick (Jessica), Mackenzie (Paul), Riley, Zachary and his great grandchildren, Phoebe, Emily, Caitlin, Ashley, Allyson, Kaitlyn, Liam, Molly, Finley, Jessica, Darian, Chase, Vincent, Rose, Axel Leon and Jade.

Dad was so proud of his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and his life was complete whenever he had a chance to be with any of them. He was wise beyond words and influenced and touched all the lives of people he knew. Dad selflessly gave of himself to all and passed on the wisdom, love, and knowledge which will continue to influence us and generations to come.

Simply...thank you Dad and Mom for being "the best". We love you, we miss you and await our reunion. I'll see you when I see you...until

Visitation will take place at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home (1411 Hunt Club Rd, Ottawa), on Friday May 12 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. A Funeral Service will take place on Saturday May 13 at 10am. A reception will follow at the funeral home.
