Born in Ottawa on April 26, 1920, Margaret died peacefully on March 31, 2013 at the age of 92. Dear wife of the late Robert John Lahey. Predeceased by sisters Marion Hearty and Doris Mitchell. Survived by sister in law Dorothy Irene Poole (late Howard) of Merrickville and brother in law John Kenneth Lang (late Sybil Lahey) of Barrie. She will be sadly missed by her son David (Kelly Dubinsky), daughter Janet Todd and grandchildren James (Janice), Michael (Crystal) and Jennifer Todd (Tom); Christopher (Lily) and Casey Lahey and their mom Colleen Holmes; Wilson Dubinsky; special great-grandchild Jesse along with 7 other great-grandchildren and other family members. Friends are invited to McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road, on Saturday, April 6 for a visitation between 12:30 and 2:30 p.m. followed by a funeral service at 2:30 p.m. Special thanks to the staff of the Ottawa General Hospital for the excellent care provided.
