Margaret Mcgovern

In hospital, on October 21, 2011 in her 90th year. Born October 23, 1921 to James Noonan and Bertha Gannon in Perth, Ontario. Dear sister of Sister Catherine Noonan and James Noonan (Norma). Predeceased by her beloved husband Hugh Thomas McGovern in 2008 after 55 years of marriage. Loving mother of Mary Parson (Stuart) and Hugh. Cherished grandmother of Kathleen, Conor and Brendan. She will be missed by her cousins, nieces and nephews, godchildren and friends. Sincere thanks to Dr. Dan Cameron, staff at Queensway Carleton and Ottawa Hospitals, and everyone involved in her care. Funeral Mass at Saint Patrick’s Basilica, Thursday, October 27 at 1:30 p.m. and reception after. Interment at Notre Dame Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Sisters of the Precious Blood, 800 rue Désaulniers, St-Hyacinthe, Quebec, J2S 8P5 or a charity of your choice.
