Our beloved and most precious Maria Corazon joined her Creator on April 30, 2026. In just over a month, on June 8, 2026, she would have celebrated her 70th birthday.

Maria Corazon, lovingly known to many as “Tita Cora,” was a devoted wife to Tom, a cherished aunt to many nieces and nephews, and a beloved presence in the lives of all who knew her.

Tita Cora will be remembered for her warm heart, generous spirit, and the joy she brought to every gathering. She had a special love for hosting, her home was always open, filled with laughter, lively conversations, and her beloved bingo games that brought family and friends together. Those moments, simple yet full of life, became treasured memories for everyone fortunate enough to share them with her.

Her kindness, hospitality, and unwavering love created a lasting impact that will never be forgotten. Tita Cora’s legacy lives on in the bonds she nurtured and the happiness she shared so effortlessly.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home and Chapel, located at 1411 Hunt Club Rd, Ottawa, ON K1V 1A6.
