Passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, January 17, 2015 at the age of 90 years. Beloved wife of the late Franciscus van Westerop. Predeceased by her son Frank and daughter Coby. Loving mother of Wim, Gerry, Ellie(Brian), Anne, Andy(Francine), Theo(Penny), Mary(Lee), Cathy, Martin(Lianne), Christine(Chris) and Hans(Jennifer). Dear Oma of 19 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Also survived by 3 brothers and 2 sisters and many nieces and nephews in both Holland and Canada. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road at Albion Road, on Wednesday, January 21 from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral Mass Thursday, January 22 at 11 a.m. in St. Leonard’s Catholic Church, 5332 Long Island Road, Manotick. Interment Hope Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society.
