Passed away peacefully in Ottawa, on January 17, 2018 in her 100th year. Bernice joins her husband Curllett, and her brothers and sisters in a better place. She leaves behind her children Mike (Linda), Ross (Linda) and Jim (Carol), her grandchildren Lisa (Sean), Tricia (Ray), Andrew (Julie), and Krista (Ryan) as well as her great grandchildren Emma, Peyton, Noah, Logan, Jordanna, Izaiah, Kylie and Carson. Bernice was a former and long time congregation member of St. Columba Anglican Church in Toronto. The family would like to thank the staff at The Medex Baseline for their care over the last 2 years. Cremation has already taken place and a memorial service to celebrate her wonderful and long life will be held in Toronto, with location and date to be announced in the spring. Donations in her memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of choice is appreciated.
