Marjorie Sauve

Of Greely (Metcalfe), Ontario, passed away peacefully surrounded by loving family early in the morning on July 23, 2018. Born November 25th, 1935 in Carrot River, Saskatchewan. Beloved wife for 62 years of Robert Sauve. Loving mother of her children: Dale, Debbie Dewan (Robert), Alan, Janice (Dennis), and the late Angela Sprengel (Peter). Proud “Nan” of six grandchildren: Vicky Legare (Frederic), Stephanie Boot (Jordan), Benjamin (Martha), Jason, Alina (Steve) and Ashley (Miles) and two great grandchildren, Kalina and Noah. Survived by her brothers Lloyd (Avis) and Kenny (Carrie), and sisters Marilyn Hoffos (Ken) and Wendy Olson (Orville). Also, dearly remembered by Patricia McCarron. A visitation will be held at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road, Ottawa on Thursday, July 26, 2018 between 6:00 pm and 9:00 pm, with the funeral service in the chapel on Friday, July 27, 2018 at 11:00 am followed by a light reception. Interment will take place following the reception at Hope Cemetery, 4660 Bank Street, Ottawa. The family extends a special thanks to the Palliative Care Team at the Ottawa General Hospital. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
