Peacefully, on Sunday, July 17, 2011, at the age of 96 years. Beloved wife of the late Peter Willis McKenna. Pre-deceased by her parents John McVeigh and Amelia McEwen, her cherished sister Kathleen (Donald) and her brother Leonard (Gwen). Frances is survived by her sister Rita Meloche (Lucien) and her brother Joseph (Helen). She is also survived by many loving nephews, nieces, grand-nephews and grand-nieces. The family will receive friends at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Road), on Tuesday, July 19, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 10 am at St. Georges Church, 415 Piccadilly Street. Interment St. Bernard`s Cemetery. In memoriam donations to St. Vincent de Paul Society would be appreciated.
