Peacefully on Monday, May 27th 2013, at the age of 63. Son of the late Richard Dougherty and the late Lilianne Henri. Beloved husband of Darlene Henderson. Dearly loved father of Scott (Connie) and Ryan, grandfather of Greydon, Rylen and Cameron; brother of Marie (Gordon). He will also be missed by his father-in-law Pete Henderson, as well as by many relatives and friends. Predeceased by his brother John and his sister Diane. Special thanks to the doctors and the nurses at the Ottawa General Hospital and the palliative staff who took care of Michael for end of life care. Friends may pay their respects at the Racine Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home (180 Montreal Rd) on Sunday, June 2nd 2013 from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 7 to 10 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, June 3rd, 2013 at 1 p.m. For those wishing, memorial donations may be made to Hospice at Maycourt.
