Michel Khalil Abboud

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Michel Abboud, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, who left this world peacefully surrounded by the love of his family. Devoted husband of Hanan Abboud (El Zarzour), with whom he shared a lifetime of love, partnership, and unwavering support. Together, they built a beautiful family rooted in strength, generosity, and deep values. He was a proud father of Walid (Yvonne), Charbel (Sandra), and Samer (Linda). Cherished grandfather of Giorgio, Thalia, Selena, Chloe, Juliana, Christa, and Michael, who brought endless happiness and light into his life. Dear brother of Abboud, Ahlam and Jean ; predeceased by Elie, Edmond, Habib and Alfred.

Michel will be remembered for his strength, humour, kindness, and the way he was always there for those he loved. He touched the lives of many with his generosity and quiet resilience, leaving behind memories that will be held close forever.

The family will receive relatives and friends on Sunday, May 3, 2026 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home & Chapel, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Road). Funeral Service will be held on Monday, May 4, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter and Paul Greek Melkite Catholic Church, 1161 North River Rd. Interment will follow at the Hope Cemetery, 4660 Bank Street. In memory of Michel, donations to Sts. Peter and Paul Church would be appreciated.
