Passed away on Wednesday July 6, 2011 at the age of 83 years. She was the daughter of the late André Marcoux and the late Eugénie Lavergne and the beloved wife of the late Lindsay Meldrum. She leaves in sorrow her dear children Lori and Peter Meldrum. Cherished grandmother of Ryan and Mackenzie, she also leaves her twin sister Liliane MacKay and her dearest nephews who took good care of her, Greg and Philippe MacKay. Mrs. Meldrum had worked for many years alongside her twin sister for the late Jean-Robert Gauthier, MP at the House of Commons. The family would like to thank Dr. Raymond and the staff at the Résidence St-Louis for the good care provided. A graveside service will be held on Friday July 8, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. at Notre-Dame Cemetery (455 Montreal Rd, Ottawa). In memory of Mrs. Meldrum, donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated.
