Norma was a dear friend.  We spoke almost every day.  I’ll always remember here calling and saying “just checking”.  

We often went out on the road together to do errands (groceries, laundry, doctor, pick up after work etc.).  We had a special bond and I will miss my friend, my church sister and that smile.

My condolences to all my 8 siblings, nieces and nephews on the sudden passing of our sister Norma Lyons.
Norma was a loving, kind and caring sister; who will be greatly missed by all.
May Yehovah give her soul rest. 

Condolences to the family on the loss of our dear aunt.  Aunt Norma was a strong God fearing woman and an inspiration for us all.

I was saddened to hear of Aunty Norma's passing, and the manner of it.  One thing I KNOW is that our family have been through hard times and have come out stronger for the experience.  Her faith was a comfort, in a world where she may have liked to have made different choices.  We know she had a GOOD heart, and strived to fight the good fight, as we all do.  Our hearts go out to her and the family around the world.  
Even in this pandemic, take heart, as our redemption draws near.

My dear Sis Norma,

It was an honour knowing you. You were always kind and had nice words for me.  I will never forget your songs, your funny testimonies, prayer meetings and how you had never ending faith in God.  You always had a song on your heart to sing to God.  Thank you for taking the time to be there and to always be a great example of love.  I remember you always calling every other day my mom and auntie just to say hi. 

I miss you calling my name, sista Vergie. The last time I went to drop something to your place last summer, who knew it would be the last time we would see each other?  You had a smile on your face and you said it’s so nice to see you.  I miss you. 

Rest well and love you very much.  My fellow conqueror singer.

My deepest sympathy to Jubilee’s family. I will always remember her kindness and love for others. And I will certainly miss her hugs, she always had one for me, God bless Sister Norma. 

My deepest condolences to the entire family far and wide.  Sis Norma was a prayer person and prayed for others. I remember when my aunt was sick she called her almost every day to pray with her.   I also remember at Melfa Church she had her seat and no one could sit in that spot.  That was her spot and everyone knew it.  She made the best rice and peas and always first place for the walk-a-ton fund raising event.  For testimony she loved quoting this scripture 1 John 3:2 “Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.” My heart is broken to see her gone from us so soon and I can’t imagine what the family is going through.  I pray for God's hands to cover you all during this time and comfort your hearts.  Rest sis Norma we love you.  The Larmond Family

My dearest friend sister Norma. I loved you in life.  I will love you in death.  And still yet, Jesus loves you more, that is why He called you home so soon.  You are in His arms now, safe and at rest.  Had I known your time remaining on earth was so near, I might have defied covid and come and see you more often.  You were one of the only people, except for scammers, who telephoned me on my landline.  But I always knew when it was you, it had that special ring.  And had I known your time on earth was so near, I would have taken that last call instead of saying I would call you back.

You were a true friend.  I love you and I will miss you.  I just have a feeling that when I get to heaven, you are one of the first persons I will see, smiling with me, arms wide open to welcome me home.  This I believe because I was your friend.

My condolences, I remember when Christopher Lyons, my brother, asked Norma to take a remote car for me and was happy to take it to Jamaica 🇯🇲 .  My first time meeting Norma at Sangster International Airport with my mom Annetta was an exciting moment. My mom is going to miss you, Norma. Greetings to you all, in the mighty name of Jesus!
My heartfelt condolences to the family.  No one is ever prepared for a sudden death and therefore it is much harder to accept.  Of all life's expericences, death seems to be the only thing that has the power to make us feel powerless.
It was only five months ago, Sis./Miss Norma and I spent some time together as we shared living  accommodation.  Quite often we  exchanged childhood stories of Jamaica, our birth place.  We are from the same Parish so I could relate to the stories, memories of happy times.  Miss Norma and I laughed so hard about some of the stories that were so foolish back then!  RIP Norma Lyions, you will not be forgotten.  God knows best!

My condolences  to the family, I remember when I first visited  my son, I went to spend two nights with Norma and Aunt Cynthia .....they  are very nice people, God-fearing Christians . We had devotion  together......that's the last time I saw Aunt Norma.....lt  was a very sad moment  for my husband and myself,  when I heard of the passing of her. That is the toughest  thing to handle when you have a love one die, it is like a stab wound  in the heart......But God knows every thing best ....I know she is at a better place........my deepest sympathy  is with the family .......may your soul rest in peace ....

I remembered as a child Aunty Norma would take very good care of me and my other three sisters while we was on summer vacations at St Ann’s Bay.  She was a lovely person inside out.
