Patricia Grace Raponi

With deep sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of our dear mother; in her 79th year, on October 21, 2021 surrounded by family at the Ottawa Hospital, General Campus. Our mom was the best friend and beloved partner of the late Antonio Raponi, loving mother of Tina (Vince) Porco and Carlo (Stephanie) Raponi. Cherished Nana to Marina, Alfredo, Gabriel, and Nathan. Mom will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by family and friends. The family wishes to thank the Billings Lodge Retirement Community staff in Ottawa for their kind care and attention to Patricia. Our family would also like to thank the dedicated medical staff members at the Ottawa Hospital, who were Patricia's guardian angels over the last few weeks. Friends may pay respects at McEvoy -Shields Funeral Home, (613) 737-7900, 1411 Hunt Club Road, Ottawa, on Wednesday, October 27 from 3-5 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Individuals must register their attendance in advance for the afternoon visitation through McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home. Registration is not required for the evening visitation, however, proof of vaccination must be shown. A private funeral mass for immediate family and close friends and relatives will occur at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 427 Booth Street, Ottawa.
