The picture captures the Paula I knew and cherish. She made work enjoyable to come to, more than a professional, Paula cared about people and had many a turn of phrase that I refer to as Paula-isms. They brightened meetings and got to the nub of what was being discussed. Enough with the bumph, she always had her ducks in a row. And her trademark broaches. :-) She will be missed. My sincere condolences to Jeff and family.

I cannot imagine the OCS alto section without Paula. There was something special about her that drew you in. Was it her huge smile, big laugh, welcoming demeanour or her gentle voice? Maybe it was her positive outlook and sense of humour. Years after her retirement she is still loved and remembered at StatCan. She will never be forgotten.

My deepest condolences to Jeff and the family.

Jeff and family - Paula’s generous, thoughtful and wise spirit will be missed. Our fondest memories of Paula are music and partying based! Paula was a key figure for keeping us all organized in the Choral Society ... and we always looked forward to the Christmas “Mingle Jingle”
get-togethers. We send our heartfelt condolences to you.
