Régina Eloudie Loyer

Passed away peacefully surrounded with her loving family at Elisabeth Bruyère on November 23, 2017, at the age of 94. Daughter of the late Emile Racicot and the late Angélina Lortie. Loving wife of the late Henri Loyer. Adored mother of Huguette (the late Dave Schultz), Michel, Diane (the late Leonard Desbiens), Ronald (Pat Wines), Denis (Gail Morrison), Nicole, André (Pierrette Dumoulin), Daniel (Jane Wyman), Claude (Hélène Meloche), Joanne (Juan Carlos Hernandez) and Caroline (Jeff Bisson). She also leaves numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, her sister Jeanne of Sudbury, a daughter-in-law Florence and many nephews, nieces and friends. She was predeceased by her children Gilles, Denise, Roméo, Florient, François, Jacques, Yvan and Jean-Pierre. A special thanks to the fifth floor of Elisabeth Bruyère and to her granddaughter Ronda for her excellent care at the Glebe Center. Family and friends may pay their respects on Monday, November 27, 2017 from 2 to 4 p.m and 7 to 9 p.m. at Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home (180 Montreal Road, Ottawa). A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. at Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes Church (435 Montreal Road, Ottawa). In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Alzheimer Association would be appreciated.
