Richard G Hilliker

Richard Georges Hilliker, 76, died peacefully at the Ottawa General Hospital surrounded by family on March 1st, 2011. Born March 2, 1934 in Maniwaki, QC, he is predeceased by his parents Robert Hugh and Blanche (Nault) Hilliker, and his brothers Charles and Bernard. He is survived by his loving wife Louise, his children Claire, Daniel, and Catherine, and his grandchildren Luke, Rachel, Amanda, and Matthew, as well as his siblings Robert, Genevieve, and Judith. His family would like to extend special thanks to the staff at the Ottawa General Campus AMA/5NW for their exceptional care and compassion. Per his wishes there will be no visitation but a memorial service will be held in the spring. In remembrance, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

Richard Georges Hilliker est décédé paisiblement à l’hôpital d’Ottawa, campus Général, le 1er mars 2011, à l’âge de 76 ans. Né le 2 mars 1934 à Maniwaki, Qc, il était le fils de feu Robert Hugh et de feu Blanche (Nault) Hilliker. Il fut prédécédé par ses frères Charles et Bernard. Outre son épouse Louise, il laisse dans le deuil ses enfants Claire, Daniel et Catherine, ses petits-enfants Luke, Rachel, Amanda et Matthew, ainsi que son frère Robert et ses sœurs Genevieve et Judith. La famille désire remercier le personnel de l’unité de l’aire de surveillance intensive AMA/5NW de l’hôpital Général d’Ottawa pour leurs soins exceptionnels et leur compassion. Selon ses désirs, il n’y aura pas de visite au salon funéraire. Un service commémoratif aura lieu au printemps.
